If you’re a person who is always on the go and doesn’t have much time to catch up on your reading, get audio books.

Here are two places where you can download hundreds of free audio books and listen to them on your favorite mp3 player, iPhone, ipod or on your computer.

LibriVox
LibriVox provides a plethora of free audiobooks from the public domain.  They also provide plenty of book, community, poetry and short story podcasts.

Learn Out Loud
LearnOutLoud.com has scoured the Internet to bring you over 2000 free audio and video titles. This directory features free audio books, lectures, speeches, sermons, interviews, and many other great free audio and video resources. Most audio titles can be downloaded in digital formats such as MP3 and most video titles are available to stream online.

Apostle Paul was in jail when all he asked for were his jacket and his books.  “The cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus, when you come, bring them with you, and the books, but especially the parchments.” (II. Tim. 4, 13).   What a great example to read, (leaders are still readers) to keep our minds sharp (despite any situation) and to press on.  We don’t know exactly what type of books he was reading but I’m sure they were some of the good ones of his day.

    to be dealt with accordingly. Now you’ve read the tips on this page, you are
